The Oklahoma Homebuyer Education Association and The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City – Oklahoma City Branch will present the 9th Annual Homebuyer Education Conference – ‘Affordable Housing in Oklahoma.’  The conference is next Tuesday October 30th, in Edmond at the Oklahoma Weatherization Training Center.

The conference will address how changing federal guidelines and a changing market impact Oklahoma’s homebuyers.  Presenters will give an overview of the Oklahoma housing market, what homes are being built and at what price points, what homes are being sold and at what price points, and what is happening in the self-help market.  Kate Richey, policy analyst with Oklahoma Policy Institute, will discuss state and federal policies that implicate homeownership.  Click here for a complete conference agenda.  Sponsors include MidFirst Bank, Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency, OG&E, Oklahoma State Home Builders Association, and USDA Rural Development.
