The Oklahoma Conference of Churches is hosting its 28th Annual Day at the Legislature on Monday, February 14, 2011. Under the theme “Feed My Sheep”, the event will focus on poverty and education issues. Keynote speakers will be Oklahoma State Superintendent Janet Barresi and OK Policy’s own David Blatt.
The Oklahoma Conference of Churches is a statewide coalition made up of sixteen denominations who are committed to serving Oklahomans in need. The Annual Day at the Legislature offers the public a chance to learn more about the legislative process, meet legislators, and discuss state issues.
