OK Policy is now accepting applications for paid, part-time communications internship in our Tulsa office. The internship runs from late-February 2019 through the end of the year. This position may be right for you if:
- You are a college student, OR
- You are a past graduate looking to reenter the workforce, gain new experience, or change careers, AND
- You have a demonstrated interest in communications and/or public policy.
As an OK Policy communications intern, you will have opportunities to be part of many different aspects of our work. You may be asked to do things such as helping with video and audio production, designing for print and the web, collecting and formatting data, maintaining and updating media lists, managing social media, coordinating events, compiling relevant press clips, participating in planning and strategy meetings, and other duties as assigned. Interns work between 15 and 25 hours per week and are paid $11 per hour. We are happy to cooperate with your institution’s requirements for academic credit.
Internships are open to both current undergraduate and graduate students (must have completed a minimum of 24 hours of college credit) and to past graduates who are seeking internships to reenter the workforce, gain new experience, or change careers.
