Send in your summer internship application by April 29

OK Policy and internsWe are pleased to offer two exciting opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students interested in Oklahoma public policy.

We are now accepting student applicants for a paid, part-time or full-time internship during the summer of 2016. Interns will be expected to work between 15 and 40 hours per week, depending on their schedules and availability. The position will be based in our Tulsa office, with occasional opportunities to work from home or school.

Our interns are treated as full members of the OK Policy team, and they have the opportunity to gain experience in nearly all aspects of what we do. Intern tasks may include collecting data, conducting research, assisting with advocacy efforts, writing blog posts or reports on state policy issues, strategizing policy goals, and helping to coordinate events on a wide range of topics.

Eligible students should have completed at least four semesters of college coursework or be pursuing a graduate degree. We are happy to cooperate with an institution’s requirements for academic credit.

To apply, send a cover letter explaining your interest and qualifications and a resume or CV to by Friday, April 29. Please include “summer internship” in the subject line. In your cover letter, let us know if you are interested in a research internship, advocacy internship, or both.

We are also now accepting applications for the 2016 Summer Policy Institute, an intensive, four-day program for undergraduate and graduate students July 31 – August 3, 2016 in Tulsa. Learn more about the SPI and how to apply by clicking here.
