CAP Report: The State of Working Oklahoma – The Uneven Recovery Leaves Many Behind

This January 2007 report was produced for the Public Policy Department of the Community Action Project of Tulsa County under the direction of David Blatt, then Director of Policy at CAP.

The Community Action Project released the 2007 report “State of Working Oklahoma: The Unven Recovery Leaves Many Behind”. The report details that while Oklahoma’s economy has been doing very well in terms of the increasing amount and value of goods and services being produced in the state and low unemployment rates, the benefits of the expansion have been unevenly distributed. This economic expansion is not translating into greater opportunity and economic well-being for all Oklahomans.
